This website works without cookies, without analytics or tracking tools, and without fonts loaded from external servers. Unless you start a video, no connection to any third party is made. Everything that is processed nonetheless is set out below.
Controller
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Vercel processes the data arising when the site is accessed on our behalf; a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place. Any transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR.
Server log data
Each time the site is accessed, data transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the page previously visited, browser type and operating system, and the volume of data transferred. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in operating the site and defending against attacks. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes. It is not combined with other data and is not used to identify individuals.
No cookies, no analytics
We do not set cookies, we do not use analytics or audience measurement, and we do not embed advertising networks. A consent banner is therefore unnecessary — there is nothing for you to consent to. The fonts used are served from our own server; no connection is made to Google Fonts or any comparable service.
YouTube videos
The page about the mobile battery simulators contains a product video. Until you start it, you only see a still image served from our own server — no connection whatsoever is made to YouTube or Google. Only when you click “Watch video” is the player provided by Google Ireland Limited loaded. Google then learns your IP address and may transfer data to the USA. We use the extended privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com), in which YouTube does not set advertising cookies. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by clicking; you can withdraw it at any time by reloading the page. We have no influence over Google's further processing.
Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry and in case follow-up questions arise. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the matter concerns the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding. Our mailboxes are operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited; a data processing agreement is in place for this as well. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to us:

Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Article 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
